As we all know, money can’t buy happiness. But it can buy television advertisements, campaign office space, mailers, flyers, bumper stickers, yard signs, phone banks, travel expenses, carnival booths, web pages, radio advertising, candy to throw to kids during parades and fundraising dinners. And if those things are used effectively by a Democrat, they can get elected. And then we can be happy. So maybe, in an indirect way, money CAN buy happiness.
