The Bullitt County Democratic Party will work to:
- Increase the number of strong Democratic candidates in our local, state, and federal government
- Build and strengthen grassroots support of Democratic candidates and issues
- Establish and maintain financial support of the Democratic Party
- Promote public awareness of Democratic values and principles

GOAL 1: Increase the Number of Strong Democratic Candidates in Our Local, State and Federal Government
Strategy: Provide a qualified Democratic candidate for each office for each election year.
Tactic: Form a recruitment committee to identify and recruit potential candidates.
Tactic: Establish a headquarters.
Tactic: Provide training for candidates.

GOAL 2: Build and Strengthen Grassroots Support of Democratic Candidates and Issues
Strategy: Reach out to our citizenry and share our concerns for our community and our beliefs in Democratic values.
Tactic: Form a precinct committee to train and mobilize precinct officers and workers.
Tactic: Launch a voter registration initiative.
Tactic: Support the Young Democrats to empower the voice of the young voters.
